BaseTech provides a marketing, lead-management, and communications platform to businesses (our "Customers"). Two kinds of data are involved:

• Account data — information about our Customers and their authorized users. For this data, BaseTech acts as the controller.
• Customer content — the contacts, leads, messages, and records our Customers upload or generate while using the Services. For this data, our Customers are the controller and BaseTech acts as a processor handling the data on their behalf and under their instructions.

If you are an end contact of one of our Customers and have questions about how your data is used, please contact that business directly.

Information you provide

• Account & profile — name, business name, email, phone number, and login credentials.
• Billing — billing contact and transaction details. Card numbers are processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
• Customer content — contacts, leads, calendars, forms, pipelines, messages (email/SMS), notes, and files you create or upload.
• Support & communications — messages you send us and records of your requests.

Information collected automatically

• Usage data — pages viewed, features used, actions taken, and timestamps.
• Device & log data — IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and diagnostic logs.
• Cookies — see Cookies & tracking.

• Provide, operate, maintain, and secure the Services.
• Authenticate users and manage accounts and subscriptions.
• Process payments and send billing notices.
• Provide customer support and respond to requests.
• Send service, security, and administrative communications.
• Improve, develop, and troubleshoot the Services.
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

Where required by law, we rely on your consent (which you may withdraw) or another lawful basis for processing.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described here:

• Service providers / sub-processors — vendors that help us run the Services (see below), under contracts that limit their use of the data.
• At your direction — integrations and third-party services you connect.
• Legal & safety — where required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Services.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

The BaseTech platform is built on and delivered through third-party infrastructure and communications providers, which may process data on our behalf, including:

• Platform & hosting infrastructure — high-availability cloud servers and software services.
• Communications providers — e.g. SMS/voice and email delivery providers, to send and receive messages you initiate.
• Payment processors — Stripe, to handle billing.
• Analytics & support tools — to understand usage and provide support.

These providers may process and store data in the United States and other countries.

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you close your account, we delete or de-identify Customer content within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law. Customers can also export or request deletion of their data as described below.

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, update, port, or delete your personal information, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@meetbasetech.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

If you are an end contact of a BaseTech Customer, please direct your request to that business; we will assist them as their processor.

We are based in Ontario, Canada and our providers may process data in the United States and elsewhere. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we take steps to ensure it receives an adequate level of protection consistent with applicable law.

We and our providers use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure the Services, and measure usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality.

The Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
